Hello and thank you from France

I am studying the quantum theory of radiation field and something is quite difficult for me too understand right now. The photons are quantum of energies of the proper modes which are quantum mechanically transformed to harmonic oscillators. But a proper mode when thinking classicaly is a function of position and time delocalized in the whole space. So a photon is associated to something delocalized in the whole space. So how can it have a localisation and see it like a particle moving in space?
